New for 2002... |

I thank you all for your support, encouragement and joy you have given me, by your encouragement in my work. My first show was so well received, I had to take a break to recover from carpul tunnel syndrome…the shoulders and arms hurt from the constant movement over countless hours as I lived up to your demands. And again thank you! One of the most gratifying things that happened, was to have two people I truly respect compliment me. They are Miss Lassie, who said “I don’t want you to stop” and Ed Oliver (my adopted Uncle Ed) say “They are beautiful!” I reflected on old Cayman and the days when Ed Oliver flooded the tourist scene with the most beautiful post cards. I asked his permission to do some of those scenes which now no longer exist. He took me to his archives, and I was delighted. I then went for a drive and took my own photos of historic, and heart warming scenes soon to disappear from our beautiful Cayman Islands. I began working again in year 2000, and it is my absolute delight to present “My scenes of Cayman”. |
