The Setting Sun

On the beach at the old Holiday Inn, Grand Cayman, circa 1989. Yet another wonderful Caymanian scene which has now disappeared from our shores, in the sad name of progress, never to be replaced. There are no palms there now......no towering casaurinas.....just an unwelcoming wire fence and a concrete jungle.....presently building what will be known as the Ritz Carlton Residences! Dare them produce the majesty? Mother Nature says NO!

This piece is my personal property and not for sale. The second small piece I attempted to do, this 9x12 picture took me more hours than I cared to keep track of! A single piece of silk on canvas, it is total dedication, love of country, and memories progress can't erase.
